Whether you’re looking to rent a scooter for a quick day trip around Maui or you want a long term rental of a Harley Davidson Softail motorcycle or a Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle to ride for your entire vacation, Aloha Motorsports has the rides you want as you travel the Valley Isle. There’s nothing like touring the Hawaiian Islands from the open 360 degree view seen only from a motorcycle or scooter. With the west Maui mountains on one side and the clear Pacific Ocean on the other. Our convenient location on Maui’s Honoapiilani Highway (state route 30), is the perfect starting point for your island riding adventure.

Our most popular rentals include Harley Davidson Softail motorcycles, Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycles, mopeds, scoot coupes, trikes, and scooters. There is no limit to where you can go with our motorcycle rentals, but there are some special considerations for our mopeds, scooters, and Scoot Coupes.

You asked, we listened! We’ve had numerous requests to start renting bikes at our Kihei location, and since customer service is our first priority, we went out and got a fleet of bicycles for rent. These are some pretty sweet rides! Imagine cruising from beach to beach in an old-school “cruiser” model with your blanket and beverage in the basket. Does life get any better?

For mountain biking on Maui, we’ve got some pretty sweet models from Mongoose that will offer lots of fun on Maui’s winding trails and roads. Please note, bikes are available in Kihei only.

Beautiful Views On West Maui

One of the most beautiful views while riding scooters and motorcycles on Maui is Honolua Bay. The view is pristine, and the action can’t be beat. Watching Maui’s local surfers ripping the waves is a one of a kind experience, and a very cool way to soak up local culture. Honolua was recently “saved” from a construction project, which was a big win for the local community. All may continue to enjoy this iconic area without the sound of bulldozers!

While approaching on your motorcycle or scooter rental, you’re greeted with a variety of choices of places to pull over. The first spot is often referred to as “the lookout” and offers a sprawling view looking directly into the barrel of the wave. Here you’ll find garbage and recycling cans as well as an emergency call box if needed. This is a popular spot however, so it is unlikely you will be there alone.

Another great spot comes while climbing the hill after the one-lane bridge. From this viewpoint you are a little closer to the action, while maintaining fantastic views. Be careful as you pull in, this spot is just before a blind curve.

Wherever you decide to stop, be sure and show respect and utilize the garbage cans for your trash or cigarette butts. If you snap a picture with your rental, we’d love to see it! Maui Road to Hana

After checking out 4 different motorcycle rental options in Maui, we selected Aloha Motorsports and were very impressed with their entire sales and service team. They offered many options from a Harley Davidson Trike for four hours–up to the HD Street Glide for 24 hour or more, and you had a chance to really check out each machine. Saddle bags, windshields, no helmet :) you name it—they offered all of the options and made the process very simple. Our first day we selected a Trike–having never driven one before–and just did a half day rental to tour the Iao Valley. The sales team recommended some rides, some helpful hints and we were on the road within 20 minutes. We went back the next day and rented another bike for 24 hours this time to do the Road to Hana, and another sales person assisted–who was just as nice and eager to help us find the perfect fit.

The week progressed–and we couldn’t wait to hit the roads for one more fun trip and felt like FAMILY as Aloha Motorsports once again stepped up to the plate and connected us with one final rental. This time we headed North from the shop and stopped to visit a small little place owned by a sweet lady, Lorraine and tasted her homemade Banana bread & Coconut Cream pie—recommended by our Aloha Motorsports front desk supervisor. This trip was on the Honoapiilani Highway and had even better curves and cool routes than the famous Hana. Each time we visited Aloha Motorsports we were warmly greeted, the bikes were supplied as we requested, and we had a PERFECT three time rental experience in our one week vacation. Definitely check them out—-your motor will be running Maui style! (We loved the service mechanic too—young cool guy and Tom too. An entire great crew.)

Maui Scooter Rental

My fiancee and I wanted a fun way to get around the island for a day, so near the end of our trip we decided to rent a couple scooters from Aloha Motorsports. All in all we were extremely happy with this establishment for the service and products it provided. We were each able to choose a scooter that worked for us and rented them for 24 hours. The guy at the desk told us that the 24 hours was really just a guideline, and as long as they had the scooters back by some point the next day they wouldn’t worry. After a quick and easy crash course (and only putting down the damage deposit for a single scooter, thank you) we were sent off to our own devices. The scooters ran perfectly and allowed us to fully take in this gorgeous island. We returned them the next day, a few hours after the 24 hour period should have ended, and were received very pleasantly. Another guy did a quick check over the machines and made sure they were all clear, and that was it. I found it to be very efficient service and I would DEFINITELY rent from here again next time we come to Maui.
